Russell Crowe booted Azealia Banks out of his star-studded gaff party...it's the Dredge

All the celeb durt that’s fit to rake.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

It appears that Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe have had one of the all-time celebrity rows over the weekend, and there is so much to unpack.

As The Mirror, among many others, report:

Russell Crowe was so fed up of Azealia Banks that he physically removed her from his party this weekend.

And that’s just the start of it.

Apparently the gaff party was being thrown at Crowe’s Beverley Hill hotel suite on Saturday night. Rapper RZA was invited along and brought Banks as his plus one. The Mirror takes up the tale:

things turned sour after Azealia is said to have lashed out at the “boring white men” at the party and allegedly threatened to cut fellow guests like a Quentin Tarantino movie.

Sources close to Crowe told The Mirror that “the actor picked her up and ejected her from the hotel suite and then called security to boot her out of the hotel.”

Over at TMZ, Azealia was said to “laugh out loud” at Russell’s music choices before picking up a glass and threatening a guest.

What a night for all involved – and you get the feeling that there’s more scandal to come.

Niall Horan is set to star on Celebrity Gogglebox for one night only.

The special Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer will be on Channel 4 this Friday, and Niall told The Daily Mail:

Olly and I had a great laugh filming Gogglebox and hope that we can raise as much as possible for such a great cause.

Here’s hoping for some Mullingar slang to make it on prime time telly across the water. (Goss.ie)

It’s been a fantastic year so far for Sharon Horgan, and now there’s some more good news for the pile: she’s writing a movie for Reese Witherspoon’s production company.

Back in April, Reese revealed she’s a big fan:

And Sharon told Red Magazine this month that she’s penning a script for her now:

Reese set up her company [which made Wild and Gone Girl] specifically to create better roles for women because she was fed up with getting sent scripts where she was some funny guy’s girlfriend. She saw Pulling and that’s why we hooked up. And she was so great about Catastrophe. She definitely piled a few extra thousand viewers on by Instagramming about it.
