Sarah Palin

It's 2018 and Sarah Palin is somehow an Instagram influencer

She’s promoting ‘skinny tea’ and people are confused.

REMEMBER SARAH PALIN? She was the Governor of Alaska and was the running mate of John McCain when he challenged Barack Obama for the US presidency in 2008.

She once said that the only difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull was lipstick which was a bit harsh.  She was also impersonated brilliantly by Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live.

Well she’s been hanging around the States for the last 10 years and now has somehow become an Instagram influencer. Yep, she’s promoting skinny tea as a coffee replacement which according to her Instagram, her daughter Bristol LOVES.

It’s easy to take the tea everywhere after filling up my tumbler in the morning. So easy! No need to add sugar because it’s so good

Interested followers of Palin can get a whole 15% off with the code ‘PALIN’ which is nice and easy to remember. However, she has come under a bit of fire because in the post it’s not clear that if she’s being paid for the post or not.

Under US law, a sponsored post must have a #ad, #sponsored or something to indicate that the person is being paid to promote the product. Someone better alert bloggers unveiled so that we can get to the bottom of this.

Meanwhile people are slightly confused as to how we have ended up with Sarah Palin trying to sell us skinny tea.

It is however nice to see someone who was once vehemently against selfies get in on the Instagram game though. She could do better than flogging skinny tea though. Come on Sarah, you’re better than this.
