HERE IS THE sketch from The Savage Eye that comedian David McSavage claims RTÉ refused to show.

It involves the President of Ireland, some nuns, a gardener named Jesús and an ice-cold can of holy water.

The video was uploaded to YouTube yesterday by an account that hosts a number of the show’s sketches.

Last month, McSavage told the Sunday Times that RTÉ had “banned” the sketch, adding: “I think we’re kind of going backwards a little bit”.

And he told the Irish Mirror yesterday that the State broadcaster was “failing at its job” by not producing “quality”. has contacted RTÉ for comment.
