Seagull trapped in power lines rescued by a helicopter


A SEAGULL WHICH became trapped on a power line in Virginia Beach in the US was the subject of a dramatic helicopter rescue last week.


The injured bird was stuck for over 24 hours before the Dominion power company enlisted emergency help to release it.

It’s said to be recovering well after surgery on its wing.

Local news station WAVY reports that the seagull’s post-trauma meal was spaghetti hoops and hot dogs.
