Shane Lynch has hit out at RTÉ, following his controversial appearance on The Late Late Show last Friday.

After missing a flight from the UK, Shane arrived late for Boyzone’s much-anticipated appearance on the show. Things went from bad to worse when host Ryan Tubridy played a dodgy clip of the lads dancing from 25 years ago.

“Here’s the story behind that clip,” he replied. “I busted my bollocks to be here. Do you see that clip? You can shove it up your fucking hole. That’s what you could do with that clip.”

In an interview on Classic Hits 4fm, Shane addressed the controversy, claiming that RTÉ were trying to take the band down “a peg or two”.

“I arrive in this TV studio called RTE… we’ve been there for a long time, and they decide from the beginning of that interview to try and take us down a peg or two,” he said.

“Like we f**king need it. We don’t need that kind of s***. The bottom line is I was just disappointed in the fact that we were very young and very innocent.

We’ve gone on to do amazing things, amazing things. And what are you going to do? Try and chop us down? I’ll tell you what. Anyone that has tried to chop me down I’ve cut them off and told them how I didn’t like it.

“I like Ryan Tubridy. If you want to chop me down and try and put me in a place, I’m going to come out fighting. And that’s all that happened,” he concluded.

So, there you go. (Goss.ie)

Right, so, remember earlier in the week Kim Kardashian told the world she was actually chewing the jaw off herself on ecstasy when her and Ray J made the sex tape?

Well, he has a very different recollection when it comes to the events of that particular night, with a source close to him saying that Kim took no hard drugs, nor did she drink alcohol, during the filming of the sex tape.

Sources close to Kim, however, told TMZ that the reality star stands by her claims, and said that she has nothing to gain from lying about it at this point in her life.

The source also told the outlet that Kim is thankful to have learned early on from the experiences with drugs, and attributes those lessons to her decision to not get heavily involved in drugs or alcohol through adulthood.

To quote Oprah: “… But what is the truth?” (TMZ)

Apparently, Meghan Markle made Kate Middleton cry at the dress fittings before her wedding.

Meghan is understood to have insisted on “the very best” for her big day, but the fitting for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress did not go according to her demands.

A row broke out, with an insider telling he Daily Telegraph: “Kate had only just given birth to her third child, Prince Louis, and was feeling quite emotional.”

Royal sources said the pressure of the “stressful” fitting became too much for her now sister-in-law, and that the Duchess of Cambridge was left shaken and in tears. Ooft. (The Sun)

And in today’s other celebrity dirt…

  • Will Smith said he struggled to bond with his eldest son Trey following his split from his first wife. (Mirror)
  • Mel B revealed that she keeps a tattoo of her ex-husband’s name, which she had surgically removed, in a jar placed on top of her wardrobe. (Metro)
