Stena Line has cancelled its Christmas ferries from Holyhead

The company made the decision “for commercial and operational reasons.”

THE STENA LINE ferry company has cancelled its Holyhead-Dún Laoghaire service over the Christmas period this year.

In a statement, the company cited “commercial and operational reasons” for its decision not to go ahead with the sailings, which had been scheduled.

In recent years Stena Line has deployed the HSS for a few days over the Christmas holiday period on its Holyhead-Dún Laoghaire service.

For commercial and operational reasons the company had decided not to reactivate the vessel this year for the short Christmas holiday period.

Anyone who’s already booked tickets for the affected crossings will be “accomodated on other sailings best suited to their travel requirements,” Stena Line added.
