The kids from Stranger Things were the hardest working people at the Emmys last night

Bless you, children.

EVEN THOUGH STRANGER Things wasn’t up for any Emmys (the first season will be eligible for awards next year), the show managed to own the whole ceremony.

Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) and Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) may have been some of the youngest attendees last night, but they were certainly the hardest working.

First, they got all dressed up and walked the red carpet, looking only delighted to pose for the photographers:

Then, they performed Uptown Funk as everybody got seated (please remember that all three of them are accomplished singers as well as being great actors):

Their final job? Passing out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, in character, on bikes, to the adults in the audience.

Look how happy David Schwimmer is to receive his. You did the Lord’s work, kids.

After all that, viewers agreed it was time to give them a few sandwiches and a break:

Next year you’ll get your dues, kids. Just you wait.
