Little Ashtyun lost her balance when meeting one of the White House dogs, Sunny, tripping over a nearby walker and tumbling to the floor. Michelle Obama was on hand to restrain the excitable pup, as the catering staff looked on in horror.
The little girl was one of hundreds of military family children attending an arts-and-crafts event in the State Dining Room yesterday.
Her tumble was caught in a series of photographs capturing the unfolding horror.
But there were no hard feelings, with Ashtyn later seen hugging Sunny who licked her apologetically. N’daw.
