What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Irish in Wonderland (RTE 2, 9.30pm)

Yasmin Akram continues her quest to find the Irish abroad making a name for themselves. In this episode, she visits a Fair City actress turned personal trainer, and a painter with Prince Albert of Monaco as a customer.

Victoria (BE3, 9pm)

English people were shocked at the famine scenes in last week’s episode, catch the latest tonight depicting the queen’s attempts to get the government to intervene in Ireland as it continues.

The Supervet (Channel 4, 8pm)

Dr Noel Fitzpatrick is back to melt our hearts by saving loads of lovely animals. This week, he treats a border collie with a lump on his ankle, and a cat that needs a hip replacement from jumping off the sofa.


Everyone’s talking about… Siobhan on The Apprentice

The Apprentice was back on our screens last night, and it was basically a shitshow. The lads’ team lost the first challenge, making a LOSS on their burger venture.

But it was Karren Brady who was the star of the show, absolutely murdering contestant Siobhan Smith when she suggested all the women going out to sell the burgers should be attractive to men.
