COUNTRY MUSIC FANS in the Irish capital were left shocked on Sunday night when Tim McGraw collapsed on stage at the 3Arena.
The 50-year-old singer, who was performing at the Country to Country music festival, had to be helped off stage following a rendition of Humble and Kind.
The singer reportedly crouched down in an effort to catch his breath before collapsing.
Tim’s wife, Faith Hill, who was also performing at the festival, rushed to her husband’s aid, and subsequently informed the crowd that her husband would not be returning to the stage.
“He’s been super dehydrated. I apologise, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out on stage,” she told thousands of concerned fans.
A statement was issued today, which confirms Faith’s explanation.
Tim McGraw was suffering from dehydration in Dublin this evening at the C2C show. He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine. He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon.
It is understood the couple aren’t scheduled to perform again until the end of May.
