A wannabe music producer is certain he can set the music scene alight by establishing a soul band, and unleashing them upon an unsuspecting public. Expect a motley crew of auditionees, a series of awkward performances and hours of classic Dublin humour.

Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2018 (Channel 4, 9pm)

Jimmy Carr will be testing Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding, Mo Gilligan, David Mitchell, Claudia Winkleman and Michelle Wolf on their knowledge of the previous 12 months. From the world of politics to everything pop-culture related, the panellists test their wits and fight it out to see who will be crowned this year’s champions.

Harry & Meghan: The First Tour (Virgin Media Three 8pm)

If you’ve been bet into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship since day one, then this documentary is for you. Following the royal couple on their first official royal tour, ITV’s royal editor Chris Ship gives viewers an insight into the issues which arise during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 16-day tour of the South Pacific.

Everyone is talking about… Little Britain

Die-hard fans of the comedy show had their hopes raised (and subsequently dashed) after rumours began circulating in recent days that David Walliams and Matt Lucas were planning to reunite and pen some new material.

However, it turns out the reports had no grounding in reality.

Taking to Twitter to clarify the matter, Matt Lucas said fans could ‘ignore’ the story.
