What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Prime Time – The Referendum Debate (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

If you’re not entirely sick of the referendum stuff (I know, it’s hard), Prime Time are hosting a second debate on the issue. Minister for Health Simon Harris and Consultant Obstetrician Prof. Mary Higgins will represent the Yes side while Cora Sherlock and Sinn Féin TD Peader Tóibín will represent the No side. Here’s hoping it’s less of a trainwreck than the last debate.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show (BBC One, 8pm)

Flowers are lovely. Everyone loves flowers and gardens. They’re giving out the medals today which is the most important thing at the Chelsea Flower Show. See who won, who missed out and judge for yourself on which garden you’d actually like to have.

Seven Days With (3e, 8pm)

This is a new reality series that kind of like Livin’ With Lucy. Basically we get to live with a celebrity for a week. To kick off we have Tamara Ecclestone, daughter of Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. In this episode, they’re making plans for Tamara’s 30th and they’re going to hire a medium for some supernatural problems in their house. P Diddy may also make an appearance. This sounds WILD.

Everybody’s talking about… The Obamas joining up with Netflix

After 8 years of being in the spotlight, you’d think the Obamas would want to lay low and enjoy their retirement. Well that’s not how they do things and have now entered ‘a multi year agreement’ to produce original content with Netflix.

Their tweet pretty open ended meaning we can expect various types of content from the Obamas. It doesn’t say anything about Michelle doing a comedy special though which is slightly disappointing. We’ll keep our fingers crossed.

Or flick over for..

  • The Split (BBC One, 9pm) The drama series continues with Rex and Nina beginning to have feelings for each other.
  • Just Go With It (Comedy Central, 9pm) Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston star as Adam pretends to be unhappily married to seduce women. Because that’s normal.
  • How To Stay Young (RTÉ 2, 7.3opm) The series continues, this week looking at how to build muscle and the health risks of stress eating.
