What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Can’t Cope Won’t Cope (RTÉ2, 10pm)

RTÉ’s newest comedy series has been hailed as the Irish answer to Lena Dunham’s Girls – written by Stefanie Preissner, it follows two friends (played by Seana Kerslake and Nika McGuigan) trying to deal with adult responsibilities. Spoiler alert: It’s not that easy. #cantcopewontcope

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (TG4, 9.30pm)

Tim Burton’s adaptation of the Stephen Sondheim musical is dark and gory, befitting the subject matter. Barber Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp) does away with customers for the benefit of his fellow tenant, piemaker Mrs Lovett (Helena Bonham-Carter). Lovely!

First Dates (Channel 4, 10pm)

A bobsledder and a kickboxer from the UK Olympic team connect over dinner – could there be Olympian love on the cards? Meanwhile, we meet two men who are very specific (read: picky) about what they want in a woman. #firstdates
