What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows that will be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Eurovision Song Contest 2016 (RTÉ One/BBC1, 8pm)

Well, we didn’t get in… But that means we’re allowed to be extra snarky tonight. You will be aided and abetted by Marty Whelan’s commentary on RTÉ or Graham Norton on the BBC – Russia, Australia (pictured) and Ukraine are the faves. #Eurovision

The Hollow Crown (BBC2, 9pm)

If Eurovision’s not your thing, get some more highbrow entertainment with this adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henriad. Benedict Cumberbatch plays Richard III, with support from Sophie Okenedo and Adrian Dunbar. #thehollowcrown

X-Men: First Class (Channel 4, 9pm)

With the latest film in the franchise to be released later this month, why not catch up on the gang’s adventures so far? Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy play the young Magneto and Professor X in this entertaining prequel.
