What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Irish Rugby: Four Days in November (RTÉ One, 7.30pm)

Last November, Ireland defied the odds to defeat the All Blacks in Chicago. This fly-on-the-wall documentary looks back on that momentous victory as well as the rest of the November internationals. We hear from players, staff and coaches, and witness all the action from the frontlines. Ought to be a nice palate cleanser after Ireland v. France. #FourDaysInNovember

The Ray D’Arcy Show (RTÉ One, 9.55pm)

Not a bad line-up tonight as Ray chats to the O’Donovan brothers, actress Anna Friel and jockey AP McCoy. The show will feature a musical performance from Elbow. #raydarcyshow

The Fighter (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

Delightful Boston accents, boxing, Christian Bale – we’ll take it.

Everyone’s talking about… Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl made her name on Grey’s Anatomy back in the 2000s, but she’s had a hard time finding meaty television and film roles since.

Last week, she made her television comeback in Doubt, a legal drama also starring Laverne Cox and Elliott Gould.

Unfortunately, it was canceled after just two poorly rated episodes. (It got just 4 million viewers in its last airing.)

Yikes.

Bet she’s regretting the day she ever bid farewell to Izzie Stevens now, huh?

Or flick over for…

  • Diana: Designing a Princess (BBC Two, 8pm) DIANA DRESSES.
  • Taboo (BBC One, 9.15pm) *Tom Hardy says something you can’t quite understand*
  • The Voice UK (TV3, 8.30pm) The talent competition continues.
  • It Follows (Film Four, 11.15pm) Excellently creepy horror about a girl pursued by a supernatural being after having sex with her boyfriend.
  • My Old Lady (BBC Two, 9pm) Cosy little film with Maggie Smith, Kevin Kline and Kristin Scott Thomas. (Not to be confused with The Lady in the Van.)
