What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Rebellion (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

Last week’s episode, with all the riding and perceived historical inaccuracies, failed to impress - so let’s see if Rebellion improves this week, as the siege enters its third day. Elizabeth, Frances and Jimmy get caught up in the fighting at the GPO. #rebellion

War & Peace (BBC1, 9pm)

Oh look, another period drama! The BBC adaptation of the Tolstoy novel rumbles on this week, as Pierre duels Dolokhov and Natasha and Sonya deal with unexpected marriage proposals. #warandpeace

Deutschland 83 (RTÉ2, 10.30pm/Channel 4, 9pm)

Do you think we’d let you away without another period drama? LOL. This German-language show set during the Cold War has earned rave reviews from the critics, so you should definitely get stuck in. #deutschland83

Everyone’s talking about: Saturday Night Live

Kylo Ren (or Adam Driver, to his mam) hosted Saturday Night Live last night, and gave us this wonderful The Force Awakens-meets-Undercover Boss skit. Give it a watch.
