Everyone’s talking about: Gogglebox
Channel 4 has admitted it axed footage of the Gogglebox families watching Peggy Mitchell’s suicide in Eastenders because it was “too distressing”.
Speaking to the Star, Lynne of the Gilbey family said the episode brought back painful memories for them all:
The producers said it was too sad to show. The families all showed their emotions so much because it reminded them of losing someone.
