The second series of the acclaimed sci-fi drama starts tonight, bringing us back to the world where humans are supplied with artificial intelligence robots called ‘synths’ – but now, the synths want lives of their own. Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) joins the cast as an AI expert. #humans

The Nathan Carter Show (RTÉ One, 9.30pm)

Country music fans, you’re up – tonight Nathan Carter (he of Wagon Wheel fame) debuts his new four-part series, which will see him play his own hits as well as duetting with Irish favourites like Phil Coulter and Sharon Shannon. Tonight, he has ex-Westlifer Mark Feehily on. #nathancarter

Oh god, what now? Well, a spokesperson for the BBC has said that Love Productions, the company behind the show (and the channel-hopping furore) has refused to make a Bake Off special for Comic Relief, as they did last year.

However, Love Productions says the BBC only approached them about it after the negotiations between them broke down, and they’ll be taking their charity special to Channel 4 with them. ‘Sake.
