What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Vogue Does The Afterlife (RTÉ2, 10pm)

Vogue Williams (of Fade Street and married-to-Brian-McFadden fame) investigates the idea of the supernatural in this wacky new series. Can we really communicate with the dead? And if so, will Vogue be able to talk to her late father one more time? #voguedoestheafterlife

The High Hopes Choir (RTÉ One, 10.15pm)

The third and final episode of this uplifting series about a choir of people affected by homelessness. The choir appear on the Late Late Show, and also perform at Christ Church Cathedral with Lisa Hannigan and Brian Kennedy. #highopeschoir

Christmas With The Kranks (TV3, 9pm)

Frankly sh*te Christmas film starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen as a suburban couple who decide to swap Christmas for a Caribbean cruise. Their plans get turned around when their daughter decides to come home for the holidays. Not brilliant, but you’re hardly going to turn down some Christmas cheer, are you?

Sad news, everyone – the Michael family have been dropped from Gogglebox, as dad Andrew is running for a seat in the British Parliament with controversial party UKIP.

Channel 4 told the BBC that any Gogglebox cast member who decides to run for government would have to step down.

Mum Carolyne confirmed the family’s departure last night, saying they had loved “every minute” of their involvement with the show.
