What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Gogglebox Ireland (TV3, 9.30pm)

We’re excited to see how the Irish version of the wildly popular TV show goes down. The families have been introduced to us over the past few days, and include a pack of gal pals from Cabra, twin brothers from Cavan, and retired best friends from Castleknock. Narrated by Deirdre O’Kane. #GoggleboxIreland

Hunted (Channel 4, 9pm)

New series of the show that gripped everyone last year – for 28 days, ten volunteers will try to evade a team of search experts who have helicopters, surveillance gear and cybertracking software at their disposal. Nail-biting stuff. #hunted

The Night Of (Sky Atlantic, 9pm)

This addictive crime drama is well worth a watch if you haven’t seen it already – it follows a young man who wakes up after a night of partying to find a woman stabbed to death in his apartment. The fourth episode airs on Sky Atlantic tonight. #TheNightOf

Everybody’s talking about: #GBBO

So. Much. Drama. Earlier today, Mary Berry announced that she would not be following GBBO on its move to Channel 4, declaring that she would rather stay loyal to the BBC.

However, Paul Hollywood has signed a three-year contract to judge the new version of the show, saying he was “delighted” to be staying. He tweeted that he supports Mary’s decision to leave:

It’s all too much for us to deal with. Everyone stop your messing and get back to the BBC where you belong. For our sake.
