What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

Safe (TV 3, 9pm)

Jason Statham stars as a former cage fighter who ends up protecting a 12-year-old girl after she finds a valuable code criminals want to get their hands on. The mathematical genius is a target of local gangsters, and the cage fighter sees redemption in protecting her.

When Football Banned Women (Channel 4, 10pm)

One hundred years ago, women’s football dominated headlines and attracted massive crowds. Clare Balding examines this hidden history, when women’s football teams grew from factories during the First World War and what has changed since.

World Para Athletics Championships London 2017 (Channel 4, 7.30pm)

Coverage of day five of the Championships. The final of the women’s F20 shot put and T47 100m are due to take place, along with the men’s T13 and T54 200ms.


Everybody’s talking about… Ed Sheeran in GoT, still

People are talking about Ed Sheeran’s Game of Thrones cameo, but it’s not all good. Ed was forced to delete his Twitter account, with many speculating it’s due to the backlash against his appearance.
