Here’s the telly people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

This Is Ireland with Des Bishop (RTÉ 2, 10pm)

Des is back on our TV with a new series that promises to examine “Irish and global politics” – with a bit of craic thrown in there as well, no doubt. There are four episodes in total and they’re all filmed in front of a live audience. This definitely has the potential to perk up a quiet Monday evening. #ThisIsIreland

Everyone’s talking about… the rumour that Conor McGregor might feature in the new Game of Thrones

Northern Irish newspaper Sunday Life reported yesterday that a source had informed them of the unlikely casting:

It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones.
He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.

And the news has gone global already – even though it hasn’t been confirmed:

What a combination that would be.
