What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Ireland’s Fittest Family (RTÉ One, 6.30pm)

A new series returns tonight – and once again you will watch families that are way fitter than yours challenge themselves over obstacle courses with famous Irish ex-athletes roaring at them to go faster. Rugby player Alan Quinlan and camogie champion Anna Geary join the regulars in what is always a gripping show. #FittestFamily

The Great Irish Bake Off (TV3, 9pm)

This week’s challenge sees the contestants attempt a Halloween-themed cake – which could prove to be both scary and entertaining at the same time. Added to that, they will be asked to make an ‘Adults Only’ coffee cake, using Irish cream and coffee beans. Delish.  #GIBO

Dole Life (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

This documentary follows the lives of people on JobBridge – telling their personal stories about looking for work in modern day Ireland. It’s bound to create talking points.  #DoleLife

Everyone’s talking about… Donal Skehan on The Ray D’Arcy Show last night

So, it turns out the lovable celebrity chef doesn’t mind the Gift Grub lads taking the piss a little. It’s all good natured anyway. That was about all there was to report from RTÉ studios last night.

Or flick over for…

  • The X Factor (TV3, 8pm) Results night.
  • Father Ted (RTÉ 2, 9pm) The one where Bishop Brennan descends on Craggy Island to investigate Jack’s nude sleepwalking.
  • Better Off Abroad: The Irish in Silicon Valley (RTÉ One, 9.30pm) Do they miss the weather? And other more important questions.
  • Strictly Come Dancing: The Results (BBC One, 7.15pm) All the results (but with none of the Daniel).
