What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

EURO 2016: Italy v Germany (RTÉ 2, 7pm)

It’s the big one. Two giants of European football face off for the marquee quarter final of Euro 2016. With Wales through last night, and Iceland up tomorrow, we can enjoy this one knowing that our beloved minnows are still fighting the good fight. #EURO2016

Avatar (Channel 4, 8pm)

OK, so it’s unlikely you’ll be watching this in 3D – which is the main reason why it was so popular – but there are worse options out there for a Saturday night in. James Cameron directs, so you know the special effects will be class. #Avatar

Hancock (RTÉ 2, 8.50pm)

Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman all star in this fairly good superhero comedy. Will Smith in particular is in fine form as the completely mediocre superhero.  #Hancock

Everybody’s talking about: The X Factor auditions in Croke Park, Dublin yesterday

And this fact wasn’t lost on the world:

Impossible to know who will come out of it, but a good time was probably had queuing by all:

Or flick over for…

  • Best of Glastonbury (BBC Two, 11.15pm) all the best of last weekend’s festival.
  • Basic Instinct (TV3, 10.30pm) More than just THAT scene.
  • Today at Wimbledon (BBC Two, 8.30pm) All today’s play from SW19.
  • Old School (BBC One, 11.20pm) Literally old school at this stage.
  • The Blues Brothers (RTÉ2, 11.30pm) Classic.
