What to watch on TV tonight: Monday

Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Eden (Channel 4, 9pm)

A brand new reality show with a rather interesting premise. Filmed over the course of a year, 23 men and women try to build a new life and new society from scratch in a remote location in the Highlands, with participants including a doctor, a vet, a chef, a carpenter and a shepherdess. Like a classy, Scottish Big Brother? This could be unreal.

Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (RTÉ 2, 9pm)

A woman on holiday in Mexico with her family is the victim of foul play, but her husband somewhat suspiciously flees the scene. When the International Response Team is called upon to investigate the case, the errant spouse becomes prime suspect. Shock.

RoboCop (Film4, 9pm)

A corporation that creates military robots seizes a chance to diversify into law enforcement when a Detroit cop is critically injured in a bombing – but things don’t go well, naturally. A watchable reboot.

Everyone’s talking about… The Rubberbandits’ new RTÉ show that might feature porn stars

The Limerick lads apparently placed an ad on an adult actors website – and the show is set to feature ordinary couples having sex live on air.

It hit the front page of the Sunday World yesterday:

Either of those scenarios are very interesting tbh.

A spokesperson from RTÉ told the Irish Independent today:

A new series with the  Rubberbandits is currently in development. Nothing has been shot yet and a number of topics including Irish attitudes to sex are being looked at for the Rubberbandits to tackle in their own inimitable style.

Intriguing.
