UP TO A FEW years ago, Irish skylines were continually dominated by cranes busy in construction work as the building boom continued apace. Nowadays, the only cranes you’re likely to see are the ones which have simply been abandoned on sites.
Compare that to what’s happening in China, where this video comes from. This video shows how a sustainable building company put up a ‘modular building’ that not only minimises construction waste, but also allows for greater energy efficiency in the finished building.
