winter is coming

It looks like it's official: Summer is over

The heating is on and all.

THE COLD WEATHER is set to continue tonight, with lows of three degrees forecast.

Yes, three degrees.

While today will be bright and fresh, even reaching 17 degrees, tonight will see lows of three to seven degrees, Met Eireann says.

Tomorrow, Met Eireann is forecasting rain. Lots of rain.

“Rain will move further into Munster and Connacht on Sunday morning, while parts of Ulster and Leinster will stay drier until the afternoon. The rain will be occasionally heavy as it spreads eastwards during the afternoon and evening. Highs of 14 to 17 degrees in a fresh and gusty southeast wind.”

That pattern will continue into the week, with changeable weather and heavy rain throughout, as well as patches of fog.

Grab a jumper, bang the heating on and reminisce about that lovely fortnight in July.
