Louis Walsh announced that it’s definitely going to happen at some stage.

WHILE SPEAKING TO RSVP magazine, Louis Walsh confirmed that Westlife will definitely go on a reunion tour.

Walsh isn’t quite sure about when it’s going to go ahead, but is looking forward to it.

I have no idea when. I’m still really good friends with all of the lads – I was chatting to Mark Feehily last night about the Christmas album he’s bringing out and it’s amazing. I’d forgotten how talent he is. I think the reunion will be great, but it’s up to them when they will do it.

Bookies appear to think it’ll go ahead as soon as next year, with Boylesports setting the odds for a 2018  tour at 2/5. It’s unlikely Brian McFadden will join them, because aside from his departure from the band before their final split, he’s still touring with Keith Duffy as Boyzlife.

Odds are also in favour of a gig in the 3Arena, rather than Croke Park where they played their last show in 2012.

Louis Walsh also added that chances of Boyzone reuniting for a final tour are extremely slim. He told RSVP “I think Boyzone were over once Stephen Gately died.”
