Prisoners (TV 3, 9pm)

If you have the Fear, avoid this like the plague. If not, it’s a great thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Hugh Jackman’s daughter is kidnapped, and her suspected kidnapper is released. Not convinced he’s innocent, Jackman kidnaps him in an attempt to make him confess.

American Hustle (Channel 4, 9pm)

Christian Bale stars as a conman caught by the FBI, and attempts to avoid jail by taking part in a sting operation. We’re here for the seventies gear and Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence’s hair though.
