Ahead of the Rio Olympics, this one-hour documentary looks at distance runner Mo Farah’s discuss his life in Somalia, his career and his hopes for this year’s Olympics. Worth a gander if you’re not quite in the Olympic spirit yet.

The 80s with Dominic Sandbrook (BBC Two, 9pm)

Ready for a good old dose of nostalgia? This documentary focuses on how Britain changed in the 1980s and looks at everything from Delia Smith to shopping on the high street. Get ready for some, “In my day…”

999: What’s Your Emergency? (Channel 4, 9pm)

 

A fly-on-the-wall documentary looking at emergency services and how they cope with 999 calls. Oddly compelling.

Everyone’s talking about… Gogglebox

Last night’s Brexit-themed episode of Gogglebox paid tribute to its late narrator Caroline Aherne.

At the end of the episode, this appeared on the screen…

And Oasis’ Half The World Away played over the closing credits.
