What to watch on TV tonight: Sunday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline this evening.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Ireland’s Rising (RTE 1, 8.30pm)

Celebs, or something resembling them, return to their home county to discover its history in the 1916 rising. This episode features Anne Doyle and Wexford, so you absolutely have to tune in.

Wayne’s World (Comedy Central, 10.15pm)

Airheads Wayne and Garth have their own TV show in their basement and it all goes wrong when a sleazy executive starts to take control. OH you know what happens. Party on.

Ireland with Simon Reeve (BBC 2, 8pm)

Simon is sneaking around Belfast and Antrim in this episode, showing off the Giant’s Causeway, a kelp farm on Rathlin Island, Game of Thrones sets and the July 12 festivities in Belfast. He’ll then make his way down to the Wicklow mountains and up to the Gaze Film Festival. Sure don’t we look lovely?

Everyone is talking about… this X Factor contestant’s f*ck up

Brave Che Chesterman attempted to cover Adele’s Hello on the X Factor last night.

It did not go well. In fact, it went SO bad, he forgot the words and had to improvise.

The X Factor UK / YouTube

Needless to say, it didn’t go down too well with audiences on Twitter. But, but BUT, he posted this apology. That’s grand so.
