With their 40th birthdays fast approaching, middle-aged suburbia is a source of headaches for the couple. They snipe, snap and dismay at the way their lives have turned out and their kids are caught in the middle, while enduring their own growing pains.
Secret Life of the Holiday Resort (Channel 4, 8pm)
Documentary following Brits taking a break in the sun. The Wades from Southend are hoping to bond via their resort’s all-inclusive entertainment – but will the kids stop bickering? James and Leanne from Preston battle the crowds during the morning stampede for the pool. Just what you need to get you excited if you’ve got a holiday coming up.
