What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Tonight Tubs will be chatting with Downton Abbey and Paddington star Hugh Bonneville, as well as former Cork Rose Ruth Carroll, Home of  the Year’s Hugh Wallace, Deirdre Whelan and Patrick Bradley. Entrepreneur Niall McGarry will also make an appearance and Bad Wolves will perform their cover of Zombie by The Cranberries.

Bride Wars (RTÉ 2, 10pm)

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson play lifelong best friends Emma and Liv who have both spent months meticulously planning their perfect weddings. They’re both horrified when a clerical error results in both of their weddings clashing and their friendship turns into an aggressive rivalry.

Sport Relief 2018 (BBC One, 7pm)

At 7pm, Kylie Minogue kicks off the fundraiser with a performance in Salford. After that, Sport Relief heads to Wembley Arena for a football edition of Strictly Come Dancing, starring Chris Kamara, David Ginola and Alex Scott. Over the course of the evening, there’ll be plenty more entertainment provided by everyone from Anthony Joshua, to Harry Kane and Paddy McGuinness. This year, the show is hosted by Gary Lineker, Davina McCall and Ore Oduba.

  • The Insider: Reggie Yates in a Texan Jail (3e, 10pm) Reggie Yates spends a week in Bexar County Jail, eating, sleeping and working alongside inmates to find out what life is like inside an American prison.
