Make a wish

17 of the wildest items of clothing you can get on Wish right now

Let’s take a dive into the wild world of Wish.

I NEED TO make a confession; I’m absolutely in love with Wish. I love the mad ads that I get for it on Facebook and I adore scrolling through it to see what crazy products I can find on it. Will I buy any of them? Probably not, but it is a really fun way to pass the time.

Here are just some of the weirdest clothes I found on my latest perusal.

1. This Assains Creed-esque coat

Let’s unpack this. Firstly, the photo is in black and white which makes this outfit ten times more dramatic than it should be. Secondly, while this coat should be used for cosplay it does look like the perfect jacket to murder someone in. Some very vigilante vibes coming off this.

2. An entire wedding dress

Wish.com Wish.com

Weddings are expensive and honestly if you can cut costs anywhere then the dress is probably a good start. It’s only for one day and for €15 you’ll be saving a lot of money which you can then spend on prosecco instead. Win-win!

3. A Quentin Tarantino t-shirt

Wish.com Wish.com

Who among us wouldn’t want ‘Written and directed by Quentin Tarintino’ emblazoned across their boobs?

4. A hoody with a giant picture of Pennywise on it

Wish.com Wish.com

That’s totally not terrifying. Nope. Not at all.

5. These lurid pink leggings.

Wish.com Wish.com

Have you ever wanted to buy an item of clothing that reminds you of M.I.A’s ‘Paper Planes’ every time you look at it? Now you can!

6. Some denim cycling shorts

Wish.com Wish.com

To be fair to the seller here they do describe them as ‘denim middle pants’ rather than cycling shorts which is quite funny. Death to cycling shorts and even greater death to the denim versions.

7. How about a 2-in-1 flares/skirt combo?

Wish.com Wish.com

There’s something very 90s about this outfit. Is it the flares? Is it the 2-in-1 combination? Is is the string at the ends? Either way, I kind of want these.

8. A cigarette jacket

Wish.com Wish.com

The messaging is on point but it’s not exactly something you’d want to be strolling around a festival in. You’d be a bit of a buzzkill.

9. Some knock off  Team Sky cycling gear

Wish.com Wish.com

You can’t go wrong with €10 cycling gear can you?

10. Some denim-like Harem pants

Wish.com Wish.com

We’ve had jeggings, we’ve had jorts, now it’s time to prepare for the next big trend – Jaram pants.

11. A rather unusual raincoat

Wish.com Wish.com

While I imagine this is quite effective, it’s useless for that sideways rain that Ireland is so famous for. Also I’m not sure the child is that happy with their coat.

12. Jeans which can’t decide if they’re jeans or shorts

Wish.com Wish.com

Are they jeans that won’t keep the heat in or are they shorts going through some form of mid-life crisis?

13. A very polite slogan t-shirt

Wish.com Wish.com

I can’t imagine walking around anywhere in Ireland wearing a t-shirt that says ‘cuss words’ on it. Also anyone who enjoys chaos shouldn’t be trusted.

14. And its not-so-polite cousin

Wish.com Wish.com

A good comma or some brackets around the ‘just kidding’ part of this top would definitely give it more impact.

15. A full mermaid suit

Wish.com Wish.com

This is only for kids, unfortunately.

16. A light up fur jacket

Wish.com Wish.com

This LED jacket is battery powered and means you’ll never be lost at a festival again. It should be bought for that reason alone.

17. This jumper

Wish.com Wish.com

Is that Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-Un in a gang with a large boom box? Why yes, yes it is. €17. A bargain.
