Yes, peas. As in, the vegetable. According to Gulf News, the woman was appalled by the ‘shocking sight’ of her husband eating them not with a fork, but with a slice of bread instead. A pea sandwich? That’s a new one for us.
According to Al Qabas, the local paper in Kuwait, these kinds of divorces are becoming more common. One woman divorced her husband over his refusal to squeeze the toothpaste from the end rather than the middle, while a man divorced his wife because she refused to bring him a glass of water.
