Women are burning their hair with candles to get rid of split ends

‘Velaterapia’ is the latest new hair trend.

ANYONE WITH LONG hair is well familiar with the tyranny of split ends.

And when you donā€™t want to cut your hair, it can seem like thereā€™s no way to get rid of them.

Now women who donā€™t want to sacrifice their long, luscious locks just to get rid of split ends are turning to fire to help solve their problems. Desperate times, etc.

Velaterapia is a Brazilian hair treatment that is taking the internet by storm. It involves twisting small strands of your hair and burning the ends with a candle, causing the split ends to fall off.

Here it is demonstrated by Victoriaā€™s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio.
