Aarons Takeaway in Kilsheelan are grabbing local attention with their insanely big wraps and burgers.

Check this beast out — it cost €30 and was picked up by lucky and hungry Jamie Cronin from Waterford.

Aarons moved from a busy outlet in Carrick on Suir to Kilsheelan four months ago. James from the chipper tells us the wraps were “originally a Carrick thing” and simply got bigger and bigger as time went on. This wrap that’s been causing a stir on Facebook contains:

  • 4 x fillets
  • 6 x sausage
  • 4 x 6 ounce patties
  • 4 x 2 ounce burger
  • 1 2 lb of chips
  • Lettuce
  • Onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Mince
  • Curry
  • Cheese
  • Taco sauce
  • Chili sauce

Whoa.

We’re told the wrap is part of a 3ft challenge that has yet to be completed.

We do the 3 foot challenge now and again, eat it in 30 minutes and you get €50 back and your name on our site forever.

The lucky guy who bought the wrap, Jamie Cronin, told DailyEdge.ie that it “was well worth the money” but he’s only managed to eat about three quarters of it–so far.

I couldn’t get over the size of it and, it took two people to make.

He said that Aaron’s can be relied on to surprise you with a new creation you never knew you wanted.

Any time I’m in there I’m looking for something different and they never let you down in Aarons.

The place has become something of a local legend, constantly serving up unusual dishes such as these Paddy’s Day battered sausages…

If they’re not enough to fill you up, they also do a mountain of a 34 ounce burger for €14 which we’re told “is turning out to be a big hit with people from all over the area, especially gym lads from Clonmel”.

You know it’s massive when the gym lads from Clonmel are at it.
