In over 100 towns and cities in Ireland, people will be walking as the sun rises this morning.
All over the country (and overseas too) people got up ridiculously early to run for Pieta House.
We’re due a few more pleasant mornings in the coming week or so, as the high pressure sticks around over Ireland.
The Irish overseas were a big part of this year’s event.
There was a larger than expected turnout for the annual event, to raise funds for suicide charity Pieta House. Events were also held in London and Sydney this year.
