NEW DETAILS ON THE HIGHEST-PROFILE wedding of 2011 have been released.

Clarence House confirmed today that Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton will begin at 11am on 29 April, and the couple will be married by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

A statement released by Clarence House says that the couple has decided the route that Middleton will follow when driving through London to the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

The couple will then travel by carriage to Buckingham Palace, where the Queen will host a reception with “guests drawn from the congregation representing the couple’s official and private lives”.

Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, will then host a private dinner reception for the couple at the palace in celebration of the wedding.

The royal engagement was publicly announced on 16 November, though the couple had become engaged while on holiday in Kenya the month before. The pair have already indicated they intend to live without servants once married, though they will still have 24-hour bodyguard protection.
