FOR ANY CAT lovers out there, the one thing that Irish cafés are definitely missing is a set of kittens roaming the halls.
So Crazy Cats Café hopes to set up in Dublin with some furry friends – and they have launched a Kickstarter to get them there.
The café had a similar funding campaign back in 2014 but it didn’t reach enough cash to get the doors open – but now they’re back for more.
As they say on their Facebook page though, this will be the last time they will be seeking funding for the project.
It’s a simple mission, really:
Cat Cafés are the purrfect setting for people to come in and enjoy a cup of their favorite hot stuff and cuddle with one of the resident cats.
RESIDENT CATS.
They need to reach their total amount on the Kickstarter page by February 24. And if anyone is worried about cats getting near the food, they have a plan for that:
To stop the cats raiding the fridge and getting their little paws on our goodies, the food storage, preparation and serving areas are going to be completely separate from our cat lounge where our visitors can enjoy all that we have to offer.
Ah yes, the cat lounge.
The idea the brainchild of Georgina O’Neill, and she’s basing it on the success of similar feline-friendly spots all over the world.
