Man in his 20s was stabbed outside a house in Ennis late last night.

The Main Ennis to Galway Road is completely blocked on the N18 Ennis by-pass between Barefield and Crusheen following a collision. Long traffic delays are being reported on the main route between Limerick and Galway and gardaí say the road is completely blocked, motorists are advised to use another route. It is not known whether anyone has been injured.
