The US Secretary of State met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman today after talks in the UAE ahead of his visit to Israel.
The Palestinian health ministry said in a statement that it had recorded 249 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Hezbollah announced the killing of a "commander" for the first time since October.

UN Security Council yesterday approved a resolution demanding “immediate, safe and unhindered” deliveries of life-saving aid.
At Washington's insistence, the UN Security Council avoided calling for a ceasefire that would stop the 11-week-old conflict.
