Gemma Collins faceplanted on Dancing On Ice - but was it faked for the show?

Ouch.

IF YOU WERE sticking to your Dry January pact and stayed in over the weekend, perhaps you caught TOWIE star taking an absolute hop off the ice on Dancing On Ice last night.

Here it is sound-tracked by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s ‘Shallow’. Oscar-worthy, truly.

In all seriousness though, Gemma seemed pretty upset about the incident, crying as she received her scores from the judges and as she received treatment for her knee.

However, some viewers are not convinced the fall was genuine – and a new slowed down video appears to back up the theory.

In the replay, Gemma appears to bend forward before sliding onto her front – y’know, like you would if you were doing The Worm.

It gave ‘fans’ on Twitter enough ammunition to kick off the inescapable “FIX!” claims.

Listen, after her war of words with Jason Gardiner last week, it would make sense that she’d want to try and get the public back on side.

However, would someone be bothered to go as far as volleying themselves off a cold, hard surface, risking serious injury? Debatable, for sure.

The GC has since surfaced on Instagram and was seen relaxing as her boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent played nurse.

Arg said: “Gemma’s legs terrible, look. All round her knees, they’re in a bad, bad way.

This one isn’t so bad, but that one I’m worried about.”

Between this and Megan and Wes’s potential fake break-up, who’d have thought Dancing On Ice would be providing so much drama?

What do you reckon, though? Was the GC’s fall genuine or was it a carefully coordinated stunt?
