The Oak Pub On Dame Street Source: infomatique

THE OAK ON Dame Street is a classic old school pub in Dublin’s city centre.

As an extension to The Oak, a new bar called The Ivy opened up earlier this year – and it’s a pretty fancy spot compared to the more rustic charm of its neighbour:

Given the two pubs are linked, it’s natural that they would share certain facilities with each other.

Which might explain why somebody scrawled this on to the wall in the lads’ jacks of The Oak

Cutting.

Spotted by Mike Hayes this week, some locals have clearly declared The Ivy to be a PURE notions addition to The Oak – and the best way to get that point across is through good old fashioned toilet graffiti.
