IT’S WHEN THE weather is fine that Ireland’s beer gardens come into their own.

And not many can rival Jack’s bar and restaurant in the fishing village of Cromane.

Where on a sunny day you can look out across the water to the Dingle peninsula and take it all in

And it’s a picturesque part of the world

Jack’s has its hardcore collection of fans

And people who just stumble across it when driving the ring of Kerry

It’s a bit of a hidden gem in fact

So much so that:

Lonely Planet named Jack’s as one of Europe’s best secret spots and said that it “is a local secret and justifies the trip”

Which is a fair assessment

Given the absolutely stunning views on offer

And the grub has a reputation too

But, really. A sunny day anywhere in Kerry and a trip to see this with a pint would appear to be worth the travel

Red Sky at Night. . . Looks like a great omen for St Patrick's Day weather tomorrow 🐍🍀🌞 #PaddysDay2016 #JacksCromane
