THE STAKES HAVE never been higher when it comes to festival fashion.

Gone are they days where denim hot pants and a flower crown a la Kate Moss would suffice. No – this year it’s all about mesh, cycling shorts and as much glitter as you can flake on to yourself.

#LONGITUDE ✖️✖️✖️

However, there’s a argument been made both online and off that, while women tend to pull out all the stops with their festival garms, men put in decidedly less effort. (Sure, throw on a Hawaiian shirt and you’re good to go, Jack).

But, is it a myth? Are lads actually spending hours slaving away on their #looks and receiving no praise for it whatsoever? DailyEdge.ie decided to conduct some investgative journalism at Longitude to find out.
