Mariah Carey went to the gym in heels and fishnet tights, because she's Mariah Carey

SAY WHAT YOU want about Mariah Carey, but no one can say she isn’t entirely herself.

Yesterday, the diva had a training session with fitness guru Gunnar Peterson, who also works with celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

Only Mariah Carey doesn’t just go to the gym. She goes to the gym.

In a series of Instagram posts, Mariah lifts weights, runs, and climbs while wearing fishnet tights, high-heeled boots, and diamond necklaces (yes, plural).

People were baffled by her get up, but also couldn’t help but admire it, as is often the case with Mariah:

As it turns out, the boots are from Rihanna’s range with Puma (we should have guessed) and she was only delighted to see them being put to work, writing on Instagram:

Yo I made it! Mariah Carey in FentyxPuma!

Of course, fans of classic MTV Cribs episodes will remember that Mariah has form in this area. During a tour of her massive New York penthouse, she got on the Stairmaster in heels and a tiny black dress:

We guess the takeaway from this is: If she can do it in heels, we can do it in our runners? Thanks for the inspo, Mariah <3
