IF YOU AND your other half/sibling/colleage/best friend can cook up a storm in the kitchen without killing each other, then this could be the challenge for you.

Sky Living are looking for one Irish pair to join their new show My Kitchen Rules, which will pit couples from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales against each other.

According to the show’s producers cooking skills and relationships will be put to the test, with challenges taking place first in the pairs’ homes, followed by catered events, and then “cook offs” in studio.

2. If you literally can’t boil an egg:

3. If you have this bookmarked:

4. If this has ever happened in your kitchen:

5. If there are shards of glass in your oven

6. If this is acceptable to you:

7. If this is how you make pasta

8. If you can relate to this:

If you tick none of those boxes (or maybe just one or two, we all make mistakes) maybe My Kitchen Rules could be for you. As an added bonus the lovely Lorraine Pascale is one of the co-hosts and judges.

The show is based on a hugely successful Australian format, so here’s a hint of what you’d be letting yourself in for:
