If you're as lazy as me, this €2.50 Penneys brush cleanser will change your life

Yes, I’m only discovering this now.

I HAVE A confession to make. I hardly ever clean my brushes.

I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup on a day-to-day basis, so I would only use one or two regularly. Sometimes, months go by and my brushes haven’t seen a splash of water.

It’s just such a mundane task, and as someone who goes all or nothing, my inability to get them 100 percent clean just drives me insane. I could be going for hours, and then they have to dry? No thanks.

It looks like I’m not alone, with a poll ran on DailyEdge.ie back in July proving that you guys have a similar aversion to washing them on the regs.

Well, I’m here to tell you that there’s a better way.

This recently came into my life, after I bought it in a panic in Penneys.

The infamous PS blend and cleanse spray. It’s been around for ages now, but weirdly enough, the whole world hasn’t bought it?

It cost just €2.50 in Penneys, so I picked it up in a mild sense of guilt and desperation. I SHOULD start cleaning my brushes. I’m lucky enough that I have skin that gets minimal breakouts, but those I do get could probably be avoided.

It’s SO handy and does a good job of cleaning brushes with minimal effort, aka perfect for me. The smell is a bit chemically and the brushes never seem as good as new, but when do they ever? There’s also minimal drying off time.

It’s especially handy for powder brushes that don’t require a deeper clean. Look how it got weeks of blush straight off.

All you do is spray your brush, rub it into tissue or a cloth, and viola.

athing

So, if you’re lazy like me but really want to not apply bacteria to your face every day, this is perfect for keeping things at bay in between deep cleans.
