Fair play to him, I hope he gets away with it!

Dmitry Argarkov decided that his made up rates and fees were much more satisfactory than those of his bank.

I wrote my own contract for a loan in AIB and hair signed by a bank manager. It was mid Celtic tiger and I stipulated in the contract I was not responsible for repayments. It’s a long story and the Loan was paid back. They would sign anything to make money.

As I said it was a long story and the manager was desperate to loan the money and make commission before he went off on holidays.

I sent the story to the papers at the time but sure nobody cared during the tiger.

But now I’m really curious though. Willing to share any more details?

What do you mean by ‘gets away with it’? Mr Agarkov has nothing to get away with, having done nothing wrong. Or are you hoping that the bank can weasel out of it’s obligations? In which case: poor show.
